We've finally run into a scheduling problem with our girls, I'm sure parents who have many children have run into this nightmare LONG before we have and I now feel your pain! Annie had a choir concert on Thursday at 7p, but had to be at the school by 630p. Shawna's school had their yearly 6th grade Shakespeare play which is HUGE for them, Shawna was cast as Lady Capulet and she really wanted us to all see her performance!! What to do?!?!? Luckily Shawna's class did a performance for the school on Wednesday morning so we took time off work, my mom took time off work and we checked Annie out of school (Surprise for Shawna!) to see the Wednesday performance. Then on Thursday night I rushed Shawna to her perfomance and stayed until it was over, I hurried her to the bathroom to change out of her costume and then we drove like crazy to JPJ and barely made it in time to see Annie! Luckily we worked it out so nobody missed out on either performance but boy was it tricky and tiring! WHEW! I'm glad that's over! And I can't wait until next year when they're in the same school again so these issues don't occur! I also guilted my sister into coming from Layton with her newborn and 5 year old to sit through Shawna's magnificent performance (because it was a big deal and no1 else was going to be there Thursday night) and like the champ my sister is she drove like mad to JPJ so she too could watch Annie's performance! I love you so much Becky! Thanks for your support! And now that I've rambled on and on the best part... PICTURES!
Shawna in full costume, what a beautiful Lady!
Annie surprised us with a solo, what a beautiful voice (hahahaha! you'd have to be there to get it! A one liner and she just spoke her "solo" but did a beautiful job!)
I'm such a proud momma! My girls truly shine and I'm so grateful for the young ladies they are becoming!

I wish we could've been there - our schedules just don't permit much of anything these days!
They are so great - you should be a proud momma, they are the BEST tween/teenagers I know!
You had a taste of what my life is like a lot. I can't bear to miss anything my kids are doing! Shawna looks a lot like Annie in that picture.
